Henry’s been leading global businesses for over 20 years, with experience as CEO, MD, and GM at both big names like IBM and Royal Bank of Canada, as well as smaller ventures like IncentiaPay and BioCurate. No matter where he’s been, his focus has always been on using innovation to bring long-term value to enterprise clients.

He kicked off his career as a corporate lawyer and has even started a few of his own businesses in the US. He’s got degrees in Law and Arts (Economics and Politics) from Melbourne University and an MBA from Harvard.

Now calling Australia home, Henry’s a triple citizen of Australia, the US, and the UK, having worked all over the world.

When he’s not leading the team at Active Apparel, you’ll find him enjoying outdoor sports like biking, swimming, walking, golf, or skiing. He’s also really into emotional fitness, geopolitics, tech, and all things business innovation.

Daniel Hawker brings 20+ years of operational and financial management experience from a variety of sectors. Before joining AAG, he served as a public practice auditor and financial consultant followed by a period of private ownership in a construction company. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business in accounting and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. 

Dan’s key roles include global organization development and oversight and business development within the Australian region.

Paul McCloskey founded Active Apparel Group in 2006. He currently serves as Sales Director and President of USA operations.

Paul has over 30 years’ experience in textile manufacturing, supply and distribution and has worked across the Asia-Pacific region in various roles.

His depth of knowledge and understanding of fabric, manufacturing, and the product development process informed his ability to establish state of the art factories for AAG.

His key responsibilities include operational strategy, product development, sales, marketing, and pricing.

Over the past three decades, John has been a senior investment banker, entrepreneur and senior executive for a multi-national apparel manufacturer.  He spent over a decade at Goldman Sachs rising to Managing Director focusing on M&A and capital raising transactions across a broad range of industries. In 2005, John joined Sandler O’Neill as a partner to focus on the financial institutions space.  

After two decades working with successful entrepreneurs and business leaders, Mr. Ziegler decided to pursue his own entrepreneurial path and co-founded an athletic apparel brand which ultimately became part of Active Apparel Group (AAG). John then joined the AAG Board and management team, helping AAG double its revenues and diversify its customer base. In 2022, Mr. Ziegler stepped down from day-to-day management at AAG to focus on advising and investing in businesses that would benefit from his diverse experiences. 

John remains a Board member and significant shareholder in AAG. Mr. Ziegler graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Economics and Business.

Paula Schneider is president and CEO of Susan G. Komen®, where she is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the world’s leading breast cancer organization. Schneider is widely regarded as a business expert in organizational management and finance. Prior to Komen, she served as CEO of American Apparel, where she navigated one of the most notable turnarounds in the retail sector. She previously served as President of the Warnaco Swimwear Group, the largest swimwear company in the world, with brands such as Speedo and Calvin Klein. 

Schneider is a sought-after public speaker on issues of women’s health and empowerment. She has been featured at such thought leadership events such as Fortune’s Most Powerful Women’s Forum and Yahoo Finance. She has served as a spokeswoman for the Liz Claiborne Company and its crusade to eradicate abuse against women, and is currently a member of C200, the preeminent global organization for the advancement of women business leaders.

Jake Capps has been a private equity investor for two decades with a passion for the consumer sector. Jake founded Meaningful Partners to create an investment platform with a community of accomplished executives all devoted to serving others to empower and accelerate growth in leaders who will define the next generation with a commitment to positive purpose.

Prior to starting Meaningful Partners, Jake worked at three large private equity firms where he had the pleasure of connecting with hundreds of talented founders, CEOs, operators, executives and beyond with a wide range of superpowers and domain expertise across the consumer sector. Through this, Jake developed pattern recognition of what it takes to build a sustainable consumer business (and what to avoid). Jake has led or co-led investments in dozens of companies deploying over $1.5 billion of equity capital.
